i know ebuyer are frowned upon by some and are seen as a noob-tailer (get it ........ ) but the other night me and ham stumbled across these:

they aint the prettiest cases but.....£10!? you could sell the metal as scrap for more that that! I think i might get one and get the jigsaw and spray cans out. Im thinking Gloss Black and some chrome grill

Which one would you go for?

(i know theyre gonna be pretty ****e so dont try and persuade me out of it lol)

My dad got an Antec case (SLK something) for $15 and a 500W Smartpower for $15 just recently (after he sends in the rebates of course, will turn out to be about $20 each after tax and rebates). Now that's cheapness

my current case is some cheapy thing from optronix. dont look half bad though tbh

also, note my rather ingenious fan mod. i did this because my modular psu was hitting the fan casing. might whip up a quick little guide for it actually, tis easy peasy (click for larger image)

Do you not need a fan guard? You can get them for 99p at ebuyer

My case was a £17 job from Ebuyer, it's the only thing I havn't changed for 2/3 years! Cut a window in mine and doesn't look half bad imo , but those £10 cases are really cheap looking....

It'll be just like buyin an old 1 litre Nova from a relative for £100 and spending £1000+ on wheels, bodykit, sound system etc. Might end up looking ok but underneath it's still a shed :rollingla

I've used a few $10 cases in my time... and TBH they aren't that bad for uber cheap builds for friends, etc.

kinda, cept in my head, the plan would be:

buy an old 1 litre Nova from a relative for £100, borrow grahams welder to put in a roll cage and kangaroo bars, spend like £200 on jacking it up about a foot, taking out the windows then seeing how many sheep i can splatter
