Dude I take back anything bad I said, you really, I mean sincerely, really pulled it off.. the little yellow accents and subtle black areas all form a really deep looking build caged within that and I will stick to this, god awful roll cage (IMHO) you've done yourself proud it's a beast of a build and I look forward to seeing more ;)

And now my comment on page 6 is becoming completely true.

Many of those who were negative towards the project idea are swinging around praising the design on this case... can we call this a case at all?

seeing the motherboard and fans that's why I have confidence that you can make this case a wanted item

Thank you,Im glad you like it.

Great stuff,im glad you have taken the time to see it grow.

:D

I think its better to reserve judgement on stuff till you see the project unfold.

Those fans look so damn good! Quick question though, how did you paint them if you couldn't pop off the can blades?

I didnt paint them,I got technical with the vinyl......

They do look good tho even if I say so myself.

Fluro is not usually my bag but you've definitely got an eye for this kinda thing.

Everything is just sitting right - and with that keyboard too... dang!

I couldn't agree more mate, I'm just coming to the end of a build that was going to be black an white, but it just looked flat, so I added silver, but it still didn't look right, so out with silver, and in with blue, no it has come together nicely.

Those fans look frigging great very nice idea, that was why the Alpenfohn fans drew me to them was the coloured inner ring, it looks so much nicer than the frame one colour and the blades another, it just seems to stand out more, very well done mate, it's coming on great.

I love Alpenfohn fans.

And just for you log lurkers...some Magoo greatness.

Magoo does not 'do' rain.

He does do sleep however....

When he is not planning nuclear war that is,being a dictator is,you know.....hard work.

Good ole Magoo, my American Bulldog " Gabe " doesn't do rain either, he's just an, 8 stone lump of softness.

I've started using the Alpenfohn's in my last 2 builds, the black and white, mmh sexy, and the black and orange. Wicked build quality, and super silent, even on full boar. I just need to add 3 more 140's since I decided to swap my Monsta 240, for a Monsta 420, I'm mixing 2 rads with different fans, which is one of my big no no's I can't bare it, but the Phanteks included fans are pretty shit hot, for a standard case fan.

So are Parvum going to start to include them in their cases now then, or will it be an option ? They look pretty cool with their logo on.

Wow I thought that ram looked good you just topped it and highlighted the good points, getting excited for the finished look

The EK package arrived!

Lets start with the pump...

Now,im a well known advocate of the mighty D5 but this build doesnt have the space so I had to go with the DDC. As any watercooling enthusiast will tell you, there are caveats for running DDC's at high speeds, namely keeping it cool. The heatsink kit will go a long way in to doing just that.

If you are going to have a DDC then go PWM,your pump will thank you for it.

Fittings and rads were also sent....pics later, you have all seen fittings before but I made the fatal mistake of washing my black background with normal detergent and its ruined for close up stuff, the optical brighteners just shagged it proper for macro stuff...

Lesson learnt!

Love the pics, really crisp :)
Always loving this build :)
sad i dont wanna ruin my mobo to paint it :(

The armour unscrews from the board, you wont damage it.

Did a bit more striping on the finished top to tie it in too.

I have a new background coming tomorrow,a nice dark grey vinyl, should allow me to make dark shots without having to make severe adjustments to kill the background out.

Oooh is that the EK DDC heatsink. I think i'm going to need one now  it doesn't fit just on the bottom does it, it wraps around the whole pump without making it much taller?
