Low Profile ?

Hi All

This is my first post, so sorry if it's in the wrong place.

I have a Elonex Artisan that I built from a bare chassis a while ago. (P4, 3.4Ghz, 2Mram, N'Vid 7300GS, Vista Ultimate, it outputs via HDMI cable to an Onkyo amp and then to a Toshiba 1080p TV).

I love this system A LOT ! (except for Office 2007, which drives me mad, just when you thought you knew an application it all changes !)

Anway it's getting a bit old now and . . .

Just bought Unreal Tournament 3 and it pretty much won't run. (Will not go full screen, only runs badly in a window at min resolution).

I would like upgrade my old Nvidea 7300GS card. So I need a low profile / half hieght card that will do reasonable gaming on a small budget. Preferably HDMI output.

Came across the ATI 4550, which looks like it would work but I'm not sure if it's really 1/2 height. Different searches show diff items ? How do I get HDMI out of it, do dongles work ? Does it come with the correct mountings to fit.

Any more recommendations? My budget is £100 max.

These and several over questions perplex me !

Any advice would be much appreciate.

Look for a HD 3450 it is half height with HDMI connector.

Thanks for the info.

But why would the 3450 be better ?

I don't use audio via hdmi, prefering optical.

Will it play UT3 at a decent resolution and fps ?
