its very true. you divide the W/V and you get the amps. ofc you need more for the whole system. i was talking about the card. if you look closely you will see that the 500W psu recommended is not even 80+ certified. by todays standard,a 500W psu which has just 360W on the 12V rail,its a 360W psu,and it performs bad.a good psu like the G 450W is more than enough.

374W in load. but thats with an extreme edition i7 six core overclocked. i5 haswell even with oc is very efficient
