This is simply a list of my rig's specs.

My rigs are named after characters from 2000ad's ABC Warriors series as I run linux and like to ssh from one to another its easier to name then than remember IP addresses.

I'll put a pic of each character next to the rig name.

Here's my main rig - Steelhorn

Will flash MB with latest BIOS and get a 1055T 95W.

Will be replacing the GT220 with a 450 or 460.

Novatech x65 - Modified

Intel Pentium Dual Core T4200 @ 2.00GHz

4Gb DDR3

Nvidia GT103M 512Mb

17.5" Wide Display

2 x 500Gb HDD's - Generic (Toshiba I think)

Running Ubuntu 10.10 - Maybe Arch in the future

Using IC Diamond's Thermal Paste on it, dropped about 5 C off both the GPU and CPU.

I am currently re-building my backup server so I'll post the new spec for that when I buy all of it XD

My web dev server is a very low spec rig with a 478 P4 so that's getting replaced soon too so I won't bother posting the **** specs.

Some Pics are now up of my desktop. I should be getting a 450/460 soon and some of that NZXT lighting.

I will take better pics (with less fingerprints ) when the new GPU and lighting and more HDD's are installed. One of my 1TB HDD's is off for RMA atm.

how do you find running linux as an every day os?

i had it on one of my laptops once (ubuntu) and on a spare desktop, but never used it as my sole os...

although, i am now using mac as my main os, on my imac and macbook pro, and vista just on my pc and laptop

I've used Linux as my sole OS for at least two years now.

I started out with Fedora then moved to ubuntu then decided I wanted to tinker more and messed about with a few OS's until I found arch.

I think my favourite distro is between Arch and Gentoo.

I actually feel strange using a windows machine now, as the first thing I do on a linux machine when i boot up is open a command line XD

ahh, i couldnt do that, ...i like my GUI's too much ...probs why i prefer mac and windows and ubuntu ...

must be good though if you know all the codes and all that..
