Looking to replace the front 200 mm stock fan that came with my corsair 600t se. It is extremely loud . Looking for the quietest fan I can get

Cooler master megaflow? XIGMATEK ? any suggestions?

I too have a 600T SE, and also thinking of changing the 200mm fan at the front.. im going towards the Xigmatek XLF-F2003.. 800 RPM and 76.0 CFM under 18dB, its also the same depth as a standard 200mm corsair fan (20mm).. which is rare seeing most 200mm fans are 25+ mm.

You can also take a look into the Bitfenix Spectre 200mm fan as well.

should you go for a xigmatek XLF fan as i have, make sure you've got some long screws and nuts because the fan itself doesn't have the mounting holes to have it configured as an intake fan. apart from that you should be fine. although i do not think that those xigmatek xlf's are of a decent quality. you may as well running the stock fan.

With the 600T / 650D half the noise issue from the front fan isnt actually from the fan its self, it is the circular punch outs in the front of the case which the air passes through. i tried the stock corsair, cooler master and xigmatek xlf fans and all of them were loud the corsair being the loudest. What i ended up doing was making a fan shroud which spaced the fan back 20mm and even the corsair fan was a lot quieter (though it still hummed). The Xigmatek fan is nearly silent with the shroud.

Apparently you can just cut some foam and push a hole in each of them and mount them onto the fans. It's supposedly able to remove some of the vibrations, but I've got a fan controller and have it at a low rpm all the time which cuts out a lot of noise.
