Looking to buy a new mobo

Hi Folks

I currently have a Asus P5N-E SLI and am not having much luck at overclocking on it,i have a q6600 and most i can get out of is 2.518ghz,so i am wanting to buy another Asus board but want one that would be better than this,does anyone have any recommendations as too a good Asus Board.

I have this board and it's currently running my Q6600 at 3.6Ghz happily.

If your hell bent on Asus the Maxumius.

If you want a board that wont break get an IP35 Pro.

pretty much any P35 from a reputable brand.

650i SLI isn't a good chipset for fsb oc on quads.

My minds set on the Abit IP-35 PRO after reading some good reviews,now another ?.anybody know the best 800mhz memory i could put in it,would be 4gb,would 2x2gb or 4x1gb be best option

4x1GB Crucial Ballistix works very well with an overclock in these boards.

G.Skill PC8000 2x2GB works very well (yes, it's not 6400 but it's not dear ~£70).

I second that ... I have used so many many motherbords, monitors, graphic cards, pdas and whatever you can mention but i felt in love with this board .. only had it for few months but its really great!

If you dont like the Design or features or anything else about it, get some other P35 board!

As for the memory ... I would go with 2 sticks ... So yeah take a look at OCZ, Great memory, Great price!
