Build a civilisation however you want

A bit like a modern age of empires or something

Civilisation series bores me being turn based and stuff

a bit like empire earth i suppose

Downloading Settlers rise of an empire

looks promising, and a new settlers is due out this year

Settlers II 10th Anniversary is epic. Settlers VI is ok I guess. The formula just got worse and worse. But VI became a different game entirely. VII looks alright but not quite what you're after.

The tech you've got is the tech you've got. So not really Civ/Total War like. And nothing has battles like Total War.

The only "big battle big tech" game I can think of is Supreme Commander, but SC2 is just out and absolute bobbins.

Settlers 6 demo was broke since it was released on anything with a decent spec

so yeh...

to play it i need to take the dive and buy the game for £6

Black and white was quite enjoyable tbh and had a lot of the qualities i was looking for

Google an old game called Legion Arena and see if u can get it dirt cheap.

Don't pay big cash for it cos it fell short for me, but it's kinda old TW with a twist.
