Logitech Z906

Anyone seen the new replacement for the Z-5500? Well, it's the Z906. In my opinion they look much better then the Z-5500, but the satellites on the Z-5500 looks much more high quality then the satellites on the Z906, but over all, I think the Z906 looks better. What are your thoughts on it? I'm wondering how they will sound. As far as I know, there are no reviews out at the moment. Surround is a gimmick either way so I don't expect much.

i currently have the Creative Gigaworks G500, looks like these will be my next upgrade

TBH (and i am by no means bashing anyone who has them) but i think all little PC 5.1 speakers are a joke.

The reason i say that is because the speakers are to close to your head and do not offer the same reality of being in game as a 5.1 filling a whole room. Now i guess if you you do make your z5500 or the z906 fill an whole room that is a different story, but most people just surround themselves around there chair making a very unrealistic sounding surround.

That is just my 2 cents.

Tbh if it was me I would use the full blown home theatre speaker kit which is for the TV. Want a nice size room for these things
