little bit of painting on a shadowrock

from another thread about cooling i have decided to buy a Be quiet shadowrock 2 cpu cooler, my question is,
is it possible to paint the top plate specifically the top of the pipes the caps?

would this effect the cooling? would i need heat proof paint, also would it be ok to put a vinyl sticker on there aswell or would that melt or something? before i go off and buy the supplys, thanks for any advice =]

I wrapped mines in carbon fibre wrapping and there was no problems with heat or any melting.

The cooling capacity of the top plate is next to none, so it wont really make a difference

those heat pipe caps look like they might need sanding to stop the paint running and flaking. cant see why it will effect the cooling much
