They shall grow not old
As we that are left grow old
Age shall not weary them
Nor the years condemn
At the going down of the sun
And in the morning
We will remember them
Lest We Forget

To all that serve and to that have served my thanks
Lest We Forget
It's been 100 years since the signing of the armistice
Lest We Forget

When you go home, tell them of us and say,
For your tomorrow we gave our today.

My only regret this year is that I'm not attending this parade in a forces uniform.

My dad served in Burma during the WW2 up till 1967, I served for 10 years including Op Granby (Desert Storm), funny how I get emotional every year at this time.
This year is a special year indeed 100 years and I am parade marshal for my towns parade.
I fully intend getting rather drunk afterwards.

Certa Cito and RIP to all those who have given all.

Each poppy tells a different story,
Listen closely and you will hear.

Whoosh, as the wind carries these stories
Far and wide for us to hear
On this sad Autumn tide.

These stories tell us about our fallen heroes
Who fought to save people like us.

Remember…… Remember……Do you remember?

Remember the tears they shed
And the dread they felt 100 years ago.

Each poppy tells a story,
Listen closely and you will hear.

Was put on Facebook by my cousin today. Her kid wrote it.
