Laptop sound card quality.

Hi there.

I own a Toshiba P755-12N laptop which comes with "Realtek High Definition Audio" (it doesn't give a model number or anything.) So my question is can I use the Logitech G930 headset? (7.1 surround)

yeah, as long as you install the drivers for the headset.

I actually used to have pretty much the same laptop as that.

The G930 is a USB headset. Because of this, it takes the digital output from the PC and uses it's own soundcard to process it - ie, it doesn't matter what soundcard you have in the laptop, as the USB headset will by-pass it. Because of this, you wouldn't see any difference between your laptop and any other PC even if it has a better soundcard in it.
