wow lets all cry and feel sorry for a 10 year old kid who's mum has pushed her to sing on a major TV show then to top it all off she gets a second chance then she goes through to the final were no doubt on this earth she will bail her tears again ...

What's wrong with this world .....

Is the UK sick in the head to cause these Kids more pain and suffering instead of just letting them go...

Even my own kids agree there is no way on this earth that child should be on there.

Btg

Thats exactly what me and the missus said, I have no doubt that the show and simon cowell and even ant and dec will get the bad publicity but a 10 year old girl has to have the consent of the parent to go on the show so i blame her.

Even when the girl was crying the mum just sat there and if it wasn't for amanda holden going upto the stage she would not have moved, and what was even worse was that she virtually made the poor girl do it again where as a normal parent would have taken the child straight home or even not entered the competition in the first place.

Bad parenting imho.

yeh mist tge G off lol.

Me and my wife were shocked and my lass said what you did to Ian. she thought it was disgusting to let a frighten girl like that perform. the mother is not a mother at all she seems to be one of these that push her daughter into some thing she probably didn't want to do...

Very shameful television .....

That the same show that bad looking woman sang on that was in the news ? Looked like they turned her into a freak-show.

Whole thing sounds twisted to me.

Ratings FTW !!!

I'd prefer if they had like 12 monkeys on stage with crap to throw at each other or something.

Poor little thing.

Anyways the dancer lad tonight was epic, that lad has a bright future, Id pay to watch him.

Yeh all 3 dance acts are just beyond words and that sax player sweet jesus he is good.

The young kid tonight with them mirror effect made me go all dizzy but defo a good performance. Personally though think the show has its highs but its shameful the rest of it.

Im hoping the old lass doesn't win and one of the dance acts do esp the very first one with the 2 young lads. They were just so dammed good.

I am in the same boat as Rast in the TV area.

But believe it or not I actually sat down and watched this lame excuse for entertainment tonight and I felt sorry for the poor girl. I also felt as if the whole thing was badly scripted. But meh?

O o was it the think on news this morning where the muppet slap-head deck and ant told a girl she can't sing a song cos the producer said there's no time ?

.. there was time to film her balling etc.

Staged people. It's a "controversial" way to get people talking about ur show and creating threads on forums - oh look.

well to be honest dont normally chat about things like that and to say the least yeah it got me and my lass talking. so it worked but at the expense of a 10 year old girl.

Not good television and not the sort of thing i fancy watching at all.

I think TV like this can be entertaining, and I enjoyed watching it. There's nothing wrong with a little bit of light hearted fun, instead of trying to analyse and/or cast a critical eye over everything we watch. I especially enjoyed watching Stavros Flatley and it was great to see a father and son who were so obviously really close and having fun together.

People can pour scorn on the series and others like it all they want, but if people enjoy it and it gives them a smile, then whats the problem? I think some people seem to be trying to knock shows like this to make themselves seem all intelligent and superior, when if they actually sat and watched some of the acts, they might enjoy them. It's called kicking back and relaxing. :D

Never watch TV unless it's the good stuff. Not into this EVERYBODY watches this show so you must also. My GF normally watches her girly stuff like Britains Next Top Model, and lads I can assure you. They're not.

Why are you assuming her mother was in any way forcing her to perform?

I have 2 nieces about the same age and all they want to do is sing and dance in front of anyone they meet (although they obviously lack the level of talent). She clearly has a great voice that she must have worked on, why is it so hard to believe that it was just the fact of performing live, in front of a huge audience, in a major competition that got the better of her?

Its not an assumption after watching it it took around a minute for her mum to goto the stage after she cried and that was only after amanda holden went there first. She looked lost and no one came to help untill she cried.

Then her mum said let her do it again.
