First off let me just say I do like bf3 and I enjoy playing it however there are a few things that have been getting on my tits the last few days that I have been playing.
First off lets start with battlelog/origin. Who's bright idea was it to have a server browser in a webbrowser and not in game should be shot. More often then not I either get connection issues with the auto game function or it starts my game minimised and sometimes wont open. I then have to go to task manager close the game and retry again. This happens I would say 50% of the time.
Next is the interp kills (getting killed around corners). This happens in a few games. It happens in cs:s too but not to the degree like it does in bf3. I have been killed around corners so many times it nearly makes you want to rage quit.
The high vs low ping. Normally in most games low ping people win everytime but for some reason if I come up against someone with a 120 ping or so and I have a 30 ping I am the one that dies. I shoot get a hit indicator and apparently the guy takes no damage. While on the subject of damage how is it possible that someone can have 0% health and still be alive. Oh wait that is more ea nonsense.
While we are on the subject of nonsense why in earth did they think it was a good idea to have shotguns with slugs that can take people out from half way across the map in one hit.
Also in old battelfield games you had to go prone with the likes of an mg36 or any real heavy support weapons to be accurate and even then they wouldn't be at range. In bf3 these guns can take out a sniper at range faster then you can get that second shot off.
Also how is it possible that at close range a big powerful sniper rifle wont take someone down in one hit. I mean if you were hit by any hunting rifle even with armor on at about 10 feet you would be on your ass if not dead.
Now lets get onto the players. Most run around like idiots ignoring your requests for ammo or medic bags. Some seem to think it is free for all and shoot me so many times it is unreal. tonight I was trying to take out a sniper as a medic and my team mate thought it would be a good idea to keep spraying at me in a blind panic thus causing me to get surpressed. I did get the sniper but my screen was so blurry I didn't see the other guy coming who then killed me
Why is it that noobs go around with shotguns and have no problems when they kill someone in one hit after missing the first 5 shots but as soon as you pull out a shotgun because your pissed off of being one shot everyone on the other team thinks your a bastard.
Next is on server admins and the auto balance.
Tonight I was on a server doing pretty good I was 38 and 8 as an engineer because it is not a class I play often so I said I would give it a bash tonight. So after going on a bit of a killing spree something like 5/6 kills nothing outrageous the admin kills me using his admin control every time I kill him. So I said maybe its the gun so I swap to something else and he kills me again. I swap again and he kills me. I then ran around using a fucking pistol and he kills me but it was always only after I killed him.
I was also in a different server yesterday which said in the rules no crane camping on canals and no snipers. Well low and behold there was a guy sniping from the crane which the admin did nothing about because he was on his team. I go sniper and take out the guy on the crane and the admin kicks me
As for the auto balance it seems to always move me about 10 kills from the kill limit to the loosing team after me top scoring for the other team the whole game.
This shit does not happen in other games I play. If it wasn't for the fact I like bf3 I probably would have given up playing it ages ago.
Sorry about the rant but I needed to get that off my chest after being killed over and over by and immature admin who hasn't a clue how to play.
Oh and last point the game does look pretty and the graphics are good but getting killed by someone you cant see because of the sun glare is fucking annoying. It is even more annoying because if you aim down even the basic sight not even a scope it goes away. Wow sights are the new sunglasses. The animations are so bonkers too. Ive seen guys have the animation of being hit in the head and they have taken no damage. I have seen guys what looks like shooting into the air but somehow hitting your head and my biggest gripe is the jump animation. It looks like they are kids skipping down the road.

Apparently I don't have origin installed even though I clearly do, I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling origin and BF3 a few times now and it just wont work
