Fractal XL Build Log - ToddM

Great job. Everything looks so tidy. Once you have the side panel on, you should barely hear it running.

Only had the side panels off for the photos and I still quite struggled to hear it. It's nigh-on silent, if there is ANY other ambient noise you absolutely cannot hear it. Really chuffed with the silence, it's quite different from my older Phantom-based SLI system

Thanks to everybody! Your support has helped a lot

Now the bad news..

Unfortunately I'm currently having some issues and it'll have to go.. As I still haven't overclocked it but have absolutely everything set up I'll list it as new on ebay or something which considering all the effort that went into this would suck but oh well. Shame really, I quite like it and put all my best efforts into making it as nice as it possibly could be. Guess I'll make a couple of simple maintenance guides and such then list it along with those as an added bonus. If you guys are interested I may post up a link to the listing later and I sure will be posting a link to the build log on the listing itself.

Might as well really now that I've built it. Would be an even bigger shame to tear it apart and return to Aria who've been such a nice bunch anyway :/

Sorry to hear about this. Hope you get your situation resolved. Surprised to know you've finished building your system and now you have to sell it.

There. Thank you all for the kind words guys

Very nice listing. I hope someone will appreciate this great system you've built. It's unfortunate you won't be able to use keep it. Hopefully the money you'll receive back will help you out with your emergency. You also mentioned your main PC in the listing. Do you have a spare PC around if you're selling your main PC as well?

I hope everything works out for you. It should easily sell at that price considering people pay a lot more for custom built rigs. Good luck with the Sale

It ended up not selling several times on ebay so I lost interest in all things hardware and sold everything PC-related to a couple of mates as I needed the money.. What a dumb idea that was, but I suppose desperate times call for desperate measures. Sorry for not replying, guys, I feel quite rude now. Anyway I've sort of moved on from PCs now onto cars and am currently restoring a classic Mini. Would be glad to share pics and my experience with it so far ^^
