key combinations

OK this is maybe a bit of a dumb question and is more directed at Half Life 2 Deathmatch (although I do use the same in CS:S)

I'm left handed, therefore my mouse is on the left and my keyboard on the right.

I'm using a 5 button mouse and a G15 keyboard and I'm struggling to find a combination of keys etc.. to allow me to use these games properly.

Anyone have any ideas on key/mouse button combinations?

(I said it was a bit dumb)

Yeah i'd switch to cursor keys.

Either that or get yourself one of those dedicated gamer pads for your right hand.

doing that at the moment and using ctrl for jump and shift for duck, was wondering if there's a better way of selecting weapons than the scroll wheel on my mouse as other players seem to be able to select weapons much much quicker than me, or am I just slow?

You can do it using binds mate. Catch me later and i'll sort you out with some scripts for selecting weapons using some of ur spare mouse buttons

thr is an option in cs calle "fast weapon switching", this means that when u move your scroll wheel, the weapons are changed with no mouse clicking. i dont use this but a lot of players do. learning to switch weapons will come with time.

if ur using cursor keys i wd consider changing jump to 0 on the numpad, then u can jump and move. crouch cd be num1.
