Is it a worth the money?

I have a 3570k oc'd to4.4ghz and a cheap asus mobo that has done me very well for the last four years but I want to get into streaming and recording and I really need an i7 so I have found a 3770k for £180 which would go on my current mobo but I have also found a 4930k for £170 which would require me to get a new mobo too but I just wanted some opinions as to whether people think it's worth going for the 4930k over the 3770k?

Personally I would always go for more cores.

However, the motherboard change could really be the deal breaker, finding a 2011 Ivy Bridge-E board at a price that would make it worth while is highly unlikely.

So realistically, for the sake of budgeting, I'd go with the 3770k.

i too have an overclocked 3570k. I didnt know whether to get a 3770k or upgrade mobo and cpu. But after reading this im on the lookout for a 3770k now thanks
