iPad Air 2 vs. Xperia Z4 battery?

I was wondering if anyone here owned either one and could give their feedback on the battery.

It's a tablet for my mom and don't play any games at all. It is between the two mentioned.

The Sony has better battery. I'd argue the iPad is an easier choice if your mum isn't tech savvy and it is a better 'tablet'. The Sony is more of a tablet with laptop functions.

Not sure how Android becomes "laptop functions". Her current phone is Android, and overall I find Android more attractive due to its options for customizing, widgets etc.

That being said, I know Apples products (hardware and software) work well together for battery time. I think air 2s battery is also larger, which is why I wanted to personal feedback.

Always found that in standby (locked) the iPad just lasts forever. I can leave my mini 2 weeks without charging with infrequent use.

It becomes more of a laptop replacement because of the keyboard that can come with it. Its an Android powered surface rival.

Hey dude, iPad air 2 user here....... no complaints about the ipad at all! As SPS said the battery on the ipad is pretty decent, I use mine every day for a good few hours on YouTube and general browsing and I find that I charge it every 2-3 days :) and it's very simple to use. That's just my opinion of course :)
