Intel Control Center

Hi guys

I was checking through my Start Menu and I found a folder entitled "Intel". I figured it was something important so when I opened the Application, it told me that I have no current Registered Applicatio availablele.



I am running a Gigabyte Z68X-UD7 motherboard with a Intel i5 2500k cpu. My Hard drives are OCZ and samsung. Memory from Mushkin...

Do I need it?

Also under Programs and Feaures, I have two System Requirement Lab programs.

I have exactly the same and have never noticed before...

I'm running a 2500K and a P8P67 Deluxe.

you dont really need it

i think, it basically checks for mobo/BIOS updates on every boot

Iirc its for raid arrays on the Intel sb so unless you have it setup you don't need it.

For those who do it can boost performance by precaching data I think.
