Intel cancels discontinuance of a 22nm processor from 2013 amid supply issues

The more disturbing thing is that there is actually still DEMAND for that old tech. I find that much more troubling.

Like Nvidia Intel have enormous OEM contracts.

What willy in their right mind would buy one of these though? Gawd only knows.

I find it funny that Intel closed down loads of their plants and fired of their employees only to now have big supply issues. I guess it's Karma.

Years ago I compared the situation to the hare and the tortoise.

God I got it spot on. I'm sure they'll survive. Sure the CEOs kids will have to settle for a town instead of a private island but I'm sure they won't starve /roll eyes.

I just hope AMD can keep it up and have a solid plan. Hopefully this time they can keep it up long enough to get a good foot hold on the market and take more business away from Intel.
