Inadvertent PC mods that works!

As my upgrading and modding plans are on a very long hold, I thought I would share a very strange but effective PC mod that was found by pure clumsiness and by accident.

In the immortal words of Jethro "What happened waaaas..." I came across a box of those smelly ball shaped bath-bombs things that members of the female community love so much, dumped on top of my HAF-X. As I picked the box up, the contents fell through the bottom of the box and broke up on top of the case, thus bath-bomb powder going into my PC.

After cleaning out the case and components, and then switching on the machine over a few months, I have inadvertently created a PC exhaust fan strawberry air-freshener.

There may have been some of the powder left in the top HAF-X exhaust fans, but I'm loving the smell. Covers up the smell of melting circuit boards due to an evil overclock.

Anyone out there created a weird mod by accident? Please let us know as I'm bored being stuck behind my desk at work.

I may have to trip over with a box of lavender scented bombs that the "missus" has got somewhere and "accidentally" throw them at my HAF-X for a tester. :freak:

After fans with awesome looks and low sound we now need fans that smell good.

*Cough cough* Grey_Beard *coughh* ;)

I accidentally left a pipe cleaner in my rad while cleaning the fins (very time consuming) well after re-assembly and switching on it fired it around 3 feet in to a cardboard box like a fury missile!

Go one further and modify one of the those Glade plugin air fresheners to mount on your CPU heatsink.

The more you overclock your system the sweeter the smell of success :)

Edit:

Not so inadvertent!
