In need of a little help

Hey guys,

I have bought a dell 27" ultrasharpe monitor about 1 month ago everything was going great till tonight i seem to be getting artifacting (loads of green dots on screen)

I have POV 465gtx (stock)

temp is running around 73 idle

80 in game

I run at 2560 x 1440 res

I have tried connecting just my little 19" viewsonic which had no artifacting.

queston is do you think my graphics card is the issue and if so what should i replace it with i was hopping to wait till kepler was released as this was what i planned for my rig.

I have a feeling that my 465 just does not have the ram to power the screen maybe but my knolwage is limited.

if your GPU is fine on another monitor then its not that mate.

does ur mobo have onboard?

do you have another GPU?

no onboard

and i dont have a 2nd card

might be able to get one if friend lets me strip his one down highly doubtful though

What happens if you use a smaller res say 1080 x 1920?

yes you guessed it the girlfriend (cough) must have knocked the lead out enough to generate a issue retightened the leads and bobs your uncle.
