i7-875K - Worth it?

Hey, bros. I was wondering if the i7-875K is worth buying? I currently got an i5-750.

I want the i7-875K for HT and because it has an unlocked multiplier.

The reason I want an unlocked multiplier is that I can over clock my RAM much easier then.

I could just set the CPU at what ever I wanted/what works and then over clock the RAM after that. (I want 2000MHz on some Mushkin Redline RAM

Mate you dont need multiplier to OC the ram, your better off with a decent BCLK. the ram will be the problem when you start to clock though, much better off with high ram to start with dude.

I know what you're saying man. i meant that it's easier to get 2000MHz exactly with an unlocked multiplier. If I want exactly 2000MHz by using the BCLK then I'd have some weird CPU speed. (I think.) Know what I'm saying?

Yes mate I do. and the 875k isnt great for high multi's. Id either settle for what ever ram multi you can get OR get an 870 and some decent 2000mhz + ram

Hmm... I'll just stick with my i5-750 then.

I can rather get a couple of SSD's for the same price if I bother too. Do you know how I can improve my boot up speed? I haven't done a complete defrag in a long time, but I've done those quickies. And I don't got many start up programs.

This is what I'm hoping that i5 760's 21 multi will help with. Might make life a touch easier with my 2133MHz memory.
