i need help with water cooling im new to it all

no ok the top bay thats under the slidy thing that opens exuast ports is where my rads gona go inside the case under that bay im gona mount the fans where there hidden and the rads hidden but it still performs like it should

you know i did research im not gona water cool the motherboard they used alluminum which corrodes more often and im tempted to get a acx gtx 780 ti and just get a all in one system for the motherboard but im scared that a fan cooler isnt enough on a gtx 780 ti decide not to dwell into a custom loop to save more money also i dont realy plan to oc any i may just take the 3.4 ghz on the cpu to 4.0 ghz and not worry about oc the gpu or i may just not overclock anything which would kinda hinder the point in getting any water cooling

Finally you listen to me on the motherboard lol

If not watercooling then the siwtch 810 in the first place is sort of put to waste. Your budget is being eaten up by the 780ti which is why i said go for the 290x and waterblock,saving about $120, while maintaining the same performance. For your build you would only need 3 120mm fans and then 3-4 140mm fans instead of the 9 or so 120mm fans you were planning on, saving you about $30-$40.

You really should learn to overclock. Simple/easy and get better product life out of the cpu/gpu by doing it manually.

well with me i like all fans matching size
im kinda ocd about these things and im not realy comfortable getting a expensive video card and voiding the warenty on it incase it has a flaw form the factory with installin a water block

You can get graphics cards where adding a waterblock doesn't void the warranty as long as you retain the original cooler for RMA; I think it's EVGA that offers this sort of policy.

Not all brands will have the warranty voided by taking it apart. Also before doing so it is smart to put the intended video card in an already working system and test it with benchmarks to ensure it actually works.

Regarding the fans: Then go for the Noiseblocker 120mm fans? They run quiet and would all be the same, or some other brand?

  • Removal and or Defacing of Serial/Part number sticker(s) on ANY EVGA products WILL void ALL warranties on that product. All products ship from EVGA with a serial sticker.
  • All products must be returned in its original condition. Products received by EVGA for replacement that include 3rd-party attachments (CPU heatsink backplate, memory chip heatsinks, etc) will have all attachments removed and discarded. EVGA holds the discretion to return the product to the sender if necessary.
  • There must be no physical damage to any component including the PCB, GPU/chipset, CPU Socket, or damage that is caused by:
    • inadequate or improper repairs carried out by any person or entity which is not authorized by the manufacturer to perform warranty services on its behalf;
    • negligence, accidents, modifications, defective installation or misuse and use of inappropriate spare parts;
    • fire, immersion in liquid, lightning, earthquake, inadequate ventilation, Acts of God, incorrect application of main voltage howsoever arising, or any other cause beyond the control of EVGA;
    • any other goods which can be used with the Product, but are not the Product itself;
    • consumable or wearing items requiring replacement as part of normal service, including (but not limited to) dry cells and rechargeable batteries.
    The product must be returned to EVGA in the original factory configuration and condition. All aftermarket modifications must be reversed before sending in the product for replacement. straight from there site

Didn't you say earlier that you were slightly over your planned budget with the 780ti? That's why i have kept recommending the 290x watercooled.

I suppose this does mean if you've watercooled it, just remove the block and refit the original cooler and it's fine, as long as you've not damaged anything by fitting the block incorrectly.

How about this then: Get the GTX780Ti, and then in a few months or whatever when you've got a bit more money, get a waterblock for it. This way you'll know it definitely works too having tested it for a long time.
