Nice deal ;) If you had the 24" for £200 I would have cried a little...

dual > single

and man 2 22" for 100 each ?? when there £180 is +vat each :D cant complain lol

The panel in the 2433 is EXACTLY the same as whats in the T240 dude, so its no where near the lower end. Its an amazing 24" for the money and you would be daft to buy the smaller inferior dell.

cool that sounds awsome, but what about the buzzing noise that apparently ppl have when lowering the brightness.

You dont need to lower it, it doesnt give you a headache. But Ive not lowered mine and I use it daily as the 2433 is my screen I use when testing/benching so it gets ALOT of use.

If u r having brightness issues, lower the brightness pc side rather than the monitor.

I'd have to think people experiencing noise, if not audible noise, must be running their cables passed some psu that aint shielded or something.

In terms of headaches etc, it can be due to ur eyes being used to an old monitor, and when u stick a new one in that shows ""what the picture is meant to be like"" u have some personal adjusting to do. U 'can' set ur brightness monitor side down by say 10-20 clicks, then week on week bump it up a little. That normally deals with strain issues. Again, really, it's not normally the monitor's problem, but ur eyes adjusting from an older monitor they were used to.

If ur using the 9800GTX on it, run the nvdia color configuration thingy (the one that shows u color bars u can move etc), I've found that very good for setting up a pc's output cos ofc every1 sees colors, and levels of brightness, differently.

Sorry AMD I only saw this reply today, that sammy looks good, have a browse at ebuyer, scan as well, let us know which monitor you get, for your budget a 2nd hand Dell 2407WFP-HC can be had, keep an eye out on the web. cheers.
