HI Guys

At the Moment i have 2 x 24" DELL u2410 monitors however as i have reshuffled my room and my desk these no longer fit the way i would liek them to and they are getting in the way. The solution would be to get 1 x 27" and mount this so i can move it about. i dont Game as often as id like however id like if possible 4k and i know it would be hard to get in my price range but G sync would be nice to. My budget really is only £500 tops.

I was looking at this one:

http://www.ebuyer.com/742246-lg-27ud68p-27-ips-ultra-hd-4k-gaming-monitor-27ud68p

any thoughts on this or is there a better one out there?

Honestly for 4K you really want to be looking at monitors in the 32" range which would far exceed your budget, Take it from someone with a 27" 4K IPS Dell monitor, 27" is way too small for 4K as you have to do scaling and it doesn't properly work with all programs and can look a bit funky plus at 27" the difference between 1440P and 4K really isn't that much.

You'd be served better by going with a 1440P 27" as that really is the sweetspot for productivity and gaming performance.

The Asus PB278QR 1440P IPS is a brilliant monitor with fully adjustable stand and comes in at £395.99 :)

Apreciate the Feedback on this! really helpful. Il avoid 4k for the time being then as 32" + will not work reallyt where i want to put the monitor. would you say Gsync is important? ive never experienced it, i only have a gtx970 so not sure what the benifit would be? looking at the monitors it may push the price up for this feature.

G-Sync is a nice feature as it eliminates screen tearing and makes games feel smooth as melted butter even at low frame rates, Whether that's worth the extra to you is something only you can answer TBH.
