How high?

Ok, I know its silly to ask because there is no real accurate answer. So I'm just after your opinions really.

I have my 560J @ 4.52Ghz on water. How high could I maybe get it on a MachIIGT?

The reason I ask is because I am about to purchase a FX-57 and a MachIIGT and was gonna get 775 CPU Kit just to have a play and see how high it will go before building my AMD System.

You'll probably be able to get that at 4.52Ghz prime 95 stable but as you say its hard to say. It will also depend on other components such as your memory and PSU. Do you know what your ram is capable of? Intel cpu's are locked right? Sorry I've always been an AMD man.

Most get 5Ghz easy, if you have a tweak and invest some time 5.25Ghz superpi32m stable is achievable.

The limiting factor will be the motherboard, not the CPU or cooling up to that speed

Thanks chaps. Will give it a go then. The multi is unlocked on mine and my memory is capable of 550, it currently running at DDR500 @ 4500ghz so in theory it should be good for 4950ghz me finks lol.
