How can I get on msn at work....

ok work computers, its at a school so normal school config

all goes through a damn strict proxy

msn wont sign in (ports prob blocked)

cant find any good external proxies

all web messenger sites are blocked

i need some ideas people

tbh, going round blocks put in place by the school is just asking for trouble (I'm one to know). You tried this? it used to work at my school (and probably still does) but they've put securus on, so I'm not too keen on finding out .

Depends what system they use (you probably can) .

.exe extension is just banned except anything coming from program files, and i cant access program files to put it in there.

Hey to get msn at school or work or wherever, what works for me is to go to

www.secretip.com. You put whatever URL you want into the box for the URL there and it should give you access.

Hope that helps any.

As for running .exe, I'm not too sure if it would work but you could always try to set up a VPN.

Erm yah, I do, it's like swiss cheese. We had UT & CS running on Community Connect 3 for most of last school year (2004-5) so they went and got Securus. Now thats proper security. Try this, zip up the files you want to run, then extract them to c:\program files\<folder>\ and then create a shortcut in your documents, or on a usb drive, to the exe, and you can run it .

Edit : We were at the forefront of RM hacking... then we got banned .

Hmmm..I wish there were a way around the proxy here but everything that anyone tries is caught and I don't want to risk losing my only link to the outside world.
