HORRIBLE I7 4770K temps !!! HELP!

Out of context a bit, but was the 4770k on a huge percentage sale? Because in Greece the price difference between the 4770k and the 4790k is just 20Euros. It's not worth buying the 4770k anymore
4790K was brought out to replace the 4770K at the same price point so they should be roughly the same.

OP - there is clearly some crazy stuff going on with your chip or OC. Maybe temps aren't being read right, maybe the BIOS hasn't been setup right. If you are using Prime for stress testing can you confirm that the voltage does not exceed the 1.15v you set in the BIOS when under load? Some programs such as Prime are known for not reading the voltage mapping correctly. Try another program like OCCT or Aida64 to confirm volts and temps.

Sorry for my previous language. I have set BCLK to 100, the voltage to 1.175 and ratio to 40 (as this is the max I can go with my CPU before it becomes unstable). I have piled of the plastic cover, and the cooler is not "shitty" as it is a looot better than 212 evo and even better than 412S (I wanted to buy cheap and good CPU cooler to save money for 2 more monitors). And the airflow is very good as there is 200mm fan blowing fresh air through the top of the case (yes there is filter). Does anyone has any idea why the hell my CPU gets so low clocks and so high temperatures ?????

I am using HW Info to read my temps, would my ROG front base be more accurate?

--------------

Also what should I upgrade first???
My current specs:

CPU: I7 4770K
Mobo: Asus ROG MAximus VII Hero
RAM: Corsair Vegance Pro 2133mhz 8Gb
CPU cooler: be quiet! Shadow Rock 2
GPU: Single GTX 780 by Asus with Direct CU II etc.
PSU: Corsair RM750
Monitor: single 23 inch 1920 x 1080 LG Flatron
Keyboard: Cosrair K70
Mouse: some old but good ish Logitech mouse (I like it, it looks heavily used but still works)

I am going to end up with about £220 ish next mounth. Could anyone give me some advise?

I think that the problem is solved. I used OCCT instead of prime95 and I managed to stable OC my CPU to 4.2 Ghz with 1.300V and the highest temp was 81 degrees. Big thanks to Master and Puppet.

Is it a lot like for I7 4770K? I guess that I was very very unlucky with my CPU...

i think your very unlucky mate, but there are worse ones out there from what i've seen.

one guy needed 1.325 to get 4.2

EDIT: you can always de-lid isn't that right Master&Puppet.
