High temps

So... I'm getting high temps with my EK Supreme HF 240 Kit. I installed it yesterday and did some OCing and I noticed the temps go very high... The airflow in the case is fairly good...

Here is the kit: http://www.ekwaterblocks.com/shop/kits-cases/kits/ek-kit-h3o-supreme-hf-240.html

I know it's on 1.45v, but it's the only way I can get the CPU stable at 4.2GHz

And here is the installing and the final thing:

Pump is on 100%, there is no air in the system, no leaks, the rad is in push/pull configuration, Idle tepms are 39°C, PPL is 1.95v, IMC 1.39v, termal paste is Arctic Cooling MX-4, I used distilled water ofc.

Is this normal for watercooling? I expected temps like 65-70 but not 85

What's order is your water flow? I think Tom said in his watercooling video that it should be pump > res > rad > block.

Your order looks different to me but I might be wrong and I don't understand how this would effect your temps.

I'll admit now that I haven't been able to afford watercooling yet but the above info might be useful for others to help you.

Looks cool though

My order is res>pump>rad>block. The guide sayd its best...

And, yes it looks awesome, but I want it performing awesome aswell.

Did you have the system previously running on air or did you go straight to water cooling? I think at 1.45v you're going to get temps toward the top end of the scale. Have you re-seated the cpu block?

This is my main system and I had air cooling, this is my first wc... I added some termal paste cuz I put too little on the cpu.

How much heat paste did you stick between the water block and CPU?

Just enough

It looks like you have a kink on the "Out" from the CPU Block. Could be constricting your flow. try replacing the tube with a longer one to get rid of the kink. might help.
