Hey guys,

So my mom has ran into some trouble and I don't know what the issue is or may be, so now I'm coming to you for help.

She is on a site called deviantart.com and the issue is that she can't see this image (as an example):

per_aspera_ad_astra_by_euselia-dannpk8.jpg

What she sees is this:

She has tried with several different browsers and all show the same result.

Any ideas on why this is happening and how to fix it?.

Cheers guys,
Chrazey

By chance does she have any anti-virus type software that may block certain content on the web ?

She has the same as me, Kaspersky Internet Security and Malwarebytes Premium.

It works fine for me... Although can it have anything do with she's on an 2600K with an ASUS Z97-I Plus motherboard that doesn't really support Windows 10?.

Would be odd though as it worked fine before but stopped working.

Disable all anti virus/malware software and try again.

Definitely the issue is that CPU and board, LGA1155 CPU on a LGA1150 board :D

Now thats just mean :D

OP, can she see the image that you uploaded on OC3D? As in she is only unable to see images from that website?

Are you on the same network? Try using Google's DNS servers 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

I am, but unfortunately when it comes to networking and that kind of stuff... I'm all out man. I have no clue on what to do or what I'd be doing honestly

Just google your mum's router and how to change DNS servers. I think you can also do it in Windows - if you've built a PC you can easily do this.

Okay, but how do I google something without even know what I'm looking for really?... As in how do I google our router? (As I'm on the same one).

And yes, I built both her's and my own PC. But building is far easier than all of the technical and software/internet related stuff :p

But will try and look it up and see if I get any results later.

Type into Google. "How to set Google DNS servers on <enter router make> router".

So couple things

1) Thread title "help"... could you at least put maybe part of the problem / description or a more helpful title ? just 'help' is.. well it's pointless and won't attract actual help for the problem.

2) have you put on any of that content blocking stuff that you had on, on her pc? is your google logged into her chrome browser and installing those content-blocking plugins?

1) Fair enough.

2) No, she uses Opera, which I don't. So nothing as far as I know.
