Yeah all flashed to firmware 821 & tried 798 same results...

Is the unit faulty?

Not once has the compressor kicked in!

what colour are the led lights displaying on the back of the Mach?

Before powering up the unit the green like blinks,

When powered up all four lights come on and the red light blinks

so when you hit the power button on your pc does the Fans on the Mach start spinning and also does the compressor start too?

Does indeed sound like a faulty unit I'm afraid - do some more testing and let me know how it goes.

Hi Y'all,

Tried on two systems today with the same results, i think the unit is fubar'ed, how do I go about getting an RMA?

I never have any luck with these things, the first Mach 1 I got was DOA! I got a 6800 Ultra 2 months ago was DOA! I went through 4 DFI LanParty B's before I got one that worked.....

I have read about this problem it could be a possible fuse problem in the mach2.Remember the fans are powered by the pc psu so they would start check the fuse!(I think its inside a the back) never checked myself.

Correct! Thats the first thing I'm going to check.
