Any body out there owns an IPS monitor that is 23/27" with 2560x1440 of native resolution?
Need it to be fairly cheap, cheaper the better but obviously not too cheap that it is absolutely a piece of ships.
Thank you.

Well i really want more space to work with, i like having multiple windows open side by side.
James showed me a fairly cheap 23" 1080p monitor on my other thread that i started, it was an LG IPS234/5V going for around £135.
I was wondering if there is an equivalent of that in 1440p?

1440 is new tech.. so the entry price point is going to be larger than normal.
and your 2GB card might have a run holding the "playable" function of a larger
resolution monitor.

I just got an EVGA 680 Classified with 4GB and want to upgrade from a really bad TN panel 60Hz monitor with crap colours to a 2560X1440 display and willing to pay about £500 for it. Should I get the ASUS PB278Q 27 inch or one or the Dell Ultrasharp ones.

Both are very good monitors, I recently bought a Dell Ultrasharp 27'', mostly because it's better calibrated from the factory according to some reviews and it's got a usb3 hub, there are also quite a few forum members with 23'' ips dells and they all really like it.
As far as I know you can't go wrong with either one.

I also heard that the calibration for the ASUS was crap but there are some settings I have found on YoutTube that tells you the best settings. I think I will go for the AUS because I already have 10 USB 3.0 ports on my mechanical keyboard and fron I/O ports. And the Dell is more expensive for a slower response time, 8ms vs 5ms I think (i'm a gamer so this matters to me)

i have the 3d 27" from asus, i did not see the point in the higher res when for the moment 1080p is brill :) but as for the settings ive had no issues with my settings o n the monitor :) but i hope your happy with what ever you decide for
