hey guy 2 weeks ago me and a friend
had are first LN2 benching thought I would share with you
some pix and scores

I think with a KPE too and could not pass him
but me and my friend together we have
2- 4930ks 2 - 3930ks
3 - GTX 780 TI Classifieds
3 - GTX 780 TI KPEs


and we only bench 1- 4930k and 1 - KPE
so we still need to bench the others and see
what we can get with arte best config


BTW Tom why don't you ever do reviews of EVGA GPUs ?

With the Lightning he ran it at 1581mhz on the core and 1900mhz on the mem. He got 14910 in Fire strike and 7551 in Extreme.

Will look forward to seeing your other benchmark scores.

BTW Tom why don't you ever do reviews of EVGA GPUs ?

Their PR peeps got shitty I kept it real about the SRX and just just go all giddy because it was expensive - true story.

ya we where getting really good clocks in the 1800mhz +
but we where having trouble with the memory OC
because we where going really cold -140c
we need to find a way to get better memory OCs
than I scores will go up a lot

I really love there GPUs and costumer serves
but there Mobos are shitty

Yeah been talking to strong island about the bench session and I think there is more to be had from the CPU for sure which will help with the results. Shame about the card too, don't think he's managed to get it working since.

ya it was a real shame we should have waited longer
between the second and third run like we did with the first and second
but he was going to clean up the card and RMA it so I hope it will
all go good with that

if the ram is getting too cold maybe try something like a peltier or something but have low volts going through it making the ram have a tiny heater/(s)
just a suggestion but for a few pounds/dollars maybe this is one way to do it.

if the KPE had the memory defroster that the matrix card has then it would just be the perfect card. Little bit unfortunate that it doesn't but you can't have everything I suppose.

ya we where thinking of using the heaters that come with
the EK CPU Pot as we are not using that pot

Dry ice is much more earier to get and it is cheaper, if you want to start with sub 0 cooling

i think first ill do WC then ill go dry ice, i use dry ice for other things anyways
