Hat`s off to the USPS

Just b4 flying home, I purchase 2 incredibly small pc cases, that took ATX mobos, but are handlable like htpc cases. Took out their psus (they boasted 430W, but I didn`t really want them) and packaged them up for mailing.

All in - the cases cost me $40? each and postage was $50? each. Might be $90 something, but I`ve been looking for some small cases like these for an absolute age, and a Californian contact @ nMedia had run oos with the ones I had my heart on - these ones became available, at a lower price than the nMedia ones, so I ordered them from NewEgg and relaxed.

Posted the suckers, and within 9 days they arrived with me. Now in my book, that`s outstanding. I filled in the customs things truthfully too :p

I post the same things to the states on good `ole Parcel Force/Royal Mail - and it`d cost me atleast the same in pounds. Plus - the biggest thing - it takes almost a month. Sometimes, if u lucky 2 weeks, depending on if the tea is fresh I guess.

I`ve tracked parcels I`ve sent b4, and it`s taken almost 2 weeks to go from Cardiff to somewhere like Coventry, that`s b4 it even hits a plane or customs.

- now my idea for these cases is to install the boards I remove from upd8d systems. Don`t do anything too special with the installs, but have them in good working order, decent enough and maxed memory. Excellent backups and/or replacements for family etc. What`s more, cos the cases are minute, I don`t have kit spread everywhere ;)

I was tickled when I seen they came tbh.

This is the case. Simplisticly stupid-small, and now $39.99 hehe.

Just looked at all the pictures and yeah they are pretty cool. I would like something like that. Make a decent HTPC with em on the cheap.

I called Microsoft last thursday to repair my xbox and they said UPS will come in the next 3 days. They came friday, it was in Germany to be repaired by the thursday after. And now it's being sent back to me :)
