HALO Problem

Hey Guys!

A little problem with HAlo For the PC.

Yes, I know its old but I wanted to play the story one last time.

So I install. Start up Max everything out..

And I get graphic glitches like these.. (see in picture)

These only occur on the humans and covernant.. Nothing else.

What could be doing this? I have turned off overclocking and all.

Please help!! :worship:

I used to get that in Halo too, though not that bad

Every other game work ok?

IMO Halo sucks (port wise)

Yep every other game I play is fine..

And I play the more up to date games which use alot more POWER!

Anyone know what the prob is?

Your OCs are fine. Turn off ALL AA and AF and anything else that would control graphics from outside the game. Like go into the Nvidia control panel and put all that extra crap to application controled and turn Vsync on (if you have CRT).

Hmm mine doesnt do that and I have everything flat out etc.

That looks like its replacing a model with another as if the game files are all spazzydoodled

I found that it was the driver.

The new 8800 drivers much up Halo for some reason.

I need to down grade the drivers to play.

Has anyone used the new drivers for 8800 yet? (looking at Kempez)

Do they work with the old control panel reg key?

Eh, well i tried. I know that happend to me when i tried having AA and AF maxed on my old 7800GS.

A 6600 GT gave me this on a similar level playing GRAW, the drivers turned out to be bad for it, I had to use older ones >.<
