HAF X Expansion Hole Issue

Hi all - before I start I have contacted Coolermaster but have not received a response.

I've read that others have this issue too but the holes for screwing in my expansion cards do not fit correctly! I have to apply some real pressure to the back of the case to line them up with both the Titans, this happened with my previous motherboard and is starting to annoy me now as Titans are worth a little more than my humble 570 was.

Does anyone know if Coolermaster resolve this issue at all? Or do they just throw it back at you?

Pretty common with all cases mate - it might even be your GPU /mobo

I work with different bits all the time - its normal

As far as I can remember because it was a long time ago I had no problems with my HAF X

Nope not at all, I try not to in case I need RMA etc. While I do spend a bit of money on my rig, I still refuse to pay twice :D

not an uncommon issue but your sounds a little more out of whack than normal. I know this may sound stupid for asking but are all standoffs screwed in properly?? Does the case look square in relation of mobo tray and rear i/o pci slots?? Are the brackets on the gpus straight?? Can you give us a Clear picture of the inside of the case so maybe we might see something you may of missed??

I can try when I'm back home yes, unfortunately away until Sunday night now. I've had to physically bend my wifi card's bracket in order for it fit, the GPUs are so rigid you can't bend their brackets though without causing severe damage to the connectors.

Standoffs are all on ok for the mobo side, maybe it was just manufactured slightly skew?

not cool sounds like it is severely out of whack and from your description sounds like it should look obvious. might be the mobo tray is out of alignment as that severe of a offset should be as I said obvious looking at the back of the case. Plus if the back of the case was that out of alignment you'd see it when the door was on as well.

IT does sound like the case has been, to coin a phrase "parallelagrammed" in a way as such that it's just not square anymore...
