H100i ratteling noise

To eliminate the pump rattling, plug the fans into a molex, etc and NOT the pump. I had the same problem on my Khuler 620 and my current H100. Where if I plugged even one fan into the H100, it would rattle for some reason!

I never use the stock paste anyways so clean it off and get something like Mx4 or NH-T1 from Noctua. Remount and make sure you screw it down as tight as you can with a screw driver.

As for the rattle make sure its not something touching a fan etc. It shouldnt be the pump.

H100 had this issue aswell.
 
There is a new firmware out that is meant to cure this but be careful as I have just updated mine and now it is completely dead. The pump still runs but that's about it, no lights no fan control and not recognised by the pc in any usb port.

I think so who knows :) but I than want to mount af140 fans on top under the mesh off my cm690 I still have 2 weeks to go with no PC so I van work out idea's :D

You can't mount 140mm fans under the mesh of a CM690. Only below it, otherwise you can't get the top on
 
Nope....

It fits height wise in the centre. But because of the sloped edges of the top panel, the 140mms are too wide to actually get in under the mesh.

You can only get 120mms under the mesh, but but can obviously fit 140mms on the inner side of the case
 
this is now fixed to all those people that are worried about it it was because the fans that is why they have brought out corair 2.0 software hope this helps

just uninstall your old corsair software and re-install there new software from corsair.com

how meny fans do u think i will be able run from the corsair fan controllers if i use splitters before it starts losing power

in the review tom said something about some psu´s putting in too much power which causes the ratteling noise
 
Hi Guys,
It has bieng a while... updated me whole pc I7, new pc, other h100i, 4 x SP120 quit fans..
and now this are my temps.... with mx-4 first time every I applied thermal paste....

what doe you guys think about these temps?
 
Well, idle tempratures don't say much, do they?

Try to run 20 AVX-enabled linx loops ( 4096MB ) ,and we take it from there... :)
