i received a package a few days ago from phil with some rather expensive toys in it :)

FX 53?

SK8V?

1gb OCZ ECC PC 3500?

sounds expensive?

since i had promised him ages ago i would do the mod for his board i started with his board after coming home from my exams today...

Used a 50K VR and treated his SK8V with a nice Vcore mod for higher voltages :)

I set it up to like .25V gain

Heres the finished board...

80w initially mate, I dont push gfx cards to the extreme, but like a bit more than water alone can give..

Its probably not enough in all honesty but then you are looking at 100 quid + for a PSU for a bigger one & Im not sure they fit maze 4-1 blocks..

For anything more than an 80w TEc you need a special PSU really or you are going to damage the PSU. It's the current it draws that is the problem.

Hmmmm my 80w TEC doesn't make a massive difference with my 9800pro it would not be enough for a new card I doubt.

the new ATi range are less power consuming so im thinking they wud let off less heat meaning you wouldnt need such good cooling? but im probably wrong :P

What do u class as "special" PSUs? Im guessing that once again i need to replace my PSU :P
