Its not been folding very long but here's a quick PPD comparison...

960 folding a 9411 currently sitting around 143k
660 Ti sits around 105k
750 Ti around 60k
660 was only just above the 750 Ti

So a nice upgrade over the 660 :p

If you change from client type beta to advanced you might hit 160K PPD or so on 9201s.....

9411s lose around 35K compared to 9201 on my 970.

Just checked and both the 960 & 660Ti rigs running on beta, thought i'd changed them awhile back  obviously not :D

EDIT: Right got a 9201 but it's only pulling 138k which for the clocks i'm running i think is spot on. I've seen others get 170k but they are running like 1500mhz+

+ I think some of the current 9201's are more complex than some i folded last year as the ppd is well down on my 660 Ti.

X6 1055t with my old 660 was pulling around 200w from the wall whilst folding so i presume with the 960 it would be a minimum of 20w lower.

As a comparison my Q6600 + 750 Ti pulls 140w whilst folding & my i5 2500 + 660 Ti pulls 180-200w.

So what... if I've gotten your replies and all of this correctly, a 960 performs about like a 780Ti?

Very close to it, if we're talking about F@H. I've not compared them in terms of gaming, so I can't speak in that regard.

In folding I would say maybe close to a 780 not a 780TI, 160k on a 960 requires a fair amount of OC. All in all excellant performance for a $200 card....

Looking forward to the summer when I will be "back in the fold" :P might even have some semi decent hardware by then.

I can only speak for my OC 780ti but that reads between 290k - 330k

But like I said it OC running at 1350MHz at 1.35V

Is the 960 exactly 1/2 a 980 or 970?

Slight increase in PPD whilst running a 9202 152k

Card clocks are 1342 & 3005mhz (folding drops it from its normal 3500)

UPDATE: Core 18 9117 producing 140k so far & just had another at 165k, slightly better than all the core15's i was getting.

So, I decided to take my 960 for a spin down F@H lane. I've never folded with anything serious (though I have folded with several Android phones and some super-old AMD cards before), so I have no real reference for what my PPD should be like. I'm hoping something's not wrong because I'm only pulling about 25k PPD right now with mine. I pushed the clock up to 1430 mhz (with a mild voltage bump) to see how high I could get my PPD to go first, so I feel like this might be inadequate and something's possibly wrong.

I'm on core 15 and project 8018, so I'm hoping this is just a hard one to crunch.
Also, are you guys' posted numbers with the folding machine as your main rig or are you keeping them headless to conserve GPU power?

I think it's simply because your doing the core 15s are you using the latest F@H client If not make sure you are.

Yeah, I set up a passkey and I'm running the latest client (downloaded about an hour before my first post!) Anyone think it's anything except core 15's sucking?

It's because of the core 15. Hopefully your next one will be a 17 and you'll see the points jump way up. Also, in the client make sure your "folding power" is set to full.
