[Solved]GTX 670 SLI No post/bios/display after driver update

Hi all,

I have been running the 310 drivers for a while now and decided to install the latest beta drivers of nvidias websites. Low and behold I did a clean install and decided to reboot for good measure.
The problem now is that I can't get into bios or anything for that matter on my screens.

Booting into Windows works however as I can hear the startup sounds.

I have taken out the second GPU to see if that does anything and nothing so far.
I am unable to connect the display to my mobo as I have no video out (Sabertooth z77).

Any suggestions would be very helpful as I need the PC for work.

What are the full PC specifications? And by clean install do you mean the whole OS, or just the graphics drivers?

I just reinstalled the GPU drivers not the OS.

System:
sabertooth z77
i7 3770k
Gtx 670 in sli
32GB corsair vengeance ddr3 ram

Have you tried all of the PCI-E slots?

Yeah I have both cards and single card in either combination

This is obvious, but check if they have been pushed into the slots fully. I've had a similar issue to yours with the cards not completely pushed in. Sometimes a slight misplacement can cause problems.

If you're sure that's not the issue, try with one stick of RAM at a time.

Fixed it...

Simply clearing CMOS did the trick...random but it worked.
