It apparently has two GF110 cores, the ones in the 580, it is a dual GPU, so this card will be a nice hefty price

This cannot be possible right? If the specs are true, then it is very unlikely that it would be cheaper than a 580, unless nvidia pulls out a CRAZY stunt.

That card, along with the non referendce GTX 570's, are products done in house by EVGA. As far as what's known now, these will be a limited edition card and will ship sometime in Q2 of this year. Right now it looks like EVGA is the only company that even has a dual gpu fermi card, and I highly doubt it will cost less than a 580.

going by facts and ideas. i see 2 8 pin power sockets. that aint enough for 570 and 580 chips.

the dual slot heatsink, i dont believe that'd keep 570, 580 chips as cool and be as quiet as the vapour heatsink idea, maby if they are underclocked alot.

the hexus idea of it being 2 GF 104 chips.

if it is a mid range card it'll need to be well priced against the 580 ofc for the mid-level builder, especially for those with a 1 PCIEx16 slot motherboard

there could be more power sockets on the end of the card, probably not. wow its a massive card, i tell better with the picture on the other thread. going by the size, it could be 570/580's, bit of a killer idea to underclock them. an extreme 3 slot cooler with real chip power is on demand

It's a dual GTX560 (probably GF114 codename) card. Reasons: it has 2GB RAM, 1GB per GPU, that means 2 x 256bit interface. This has been confirmed and there is a video on youtube where the actual rep says this, also he says that the 3 DVI-I interfaces support 3 x 3D surround monitor setups. It has dual 8 pin power, not enough for a dual GTX570 monster, GTX580 is out of the question.

If it was a GF104 card then they had no reason to keep quiet about the GPU's used, since that chip is no longer under NDA for months. The GTX560 is under NDA, we only had a few leaked specs, a good reason for the rep to not tell us what chips are under there.

Well the 5970 well rubbish I would know I bought one it didn't perform well. 6990 I don't hold high hopes for don't think be massive flop just not very good value for money when people could go buy 2 6950 cross fired and unlocked to 6970's.
