gtx 570 ssc v gtx 580 hc2

Hi peepz,my buddy has just called it a day with his gtx 285 and is now on the look for a very decent card.now he was gonna order one of my cards which is the 580 hydro 2,s from evga.but he has now found a place selling evga,s gtx 570 ssc,s for £250 now this question is what is better 2x270 ssc,s or 1x hydro copper 2 cheers

They run cooler then the GTX470's but it also depends on what brand you buy , aftermarket cooler....

Evga normally have reference design so no problem for water block availability. Yeah two 570 destroy the 580

maybe he should wait for the 590/595 that is coming by the end of the month

well if the 595 have 570's on them he will still be better off with the 2 cards, runs cooler and will cost a hell of a lot less

Cooler? My GTX 570 SC runs up to 85C in games with auto fan and stock SC clocks 797/1604/1950?

and with your stock and super clocked clocks that will be done on stock voltages mate
