Just a quick note to say that I just ran aquamark3 with my SLI7800 512s @ 635/2000 on stock cooling :O . Cannot wait to get some waterblocks for these lol.

Anywayz I can only manage 111,417. I'm soooooo CPU limited lol... need Phase

My god! Those cards are absolute belters mate :O either of those make mine look distinctly pedestrian. I shudder to think what you'd manage with phase on the cpu and some heavy duty gpu cooling.

Come again? One works better than two? That would be news to me - is there evidence of this?

Surely two cards would achieve a higher score, or have I misunderstood something here?

Yeah I'm not sure what he means there either. Unless he is referring to someone with top cooling acheiveing a better score with only one 7800?

Couldnt really be top cooling as the nVidia cards throttle below 35 degrees i think it is. Sucks but they do throttle when they hit a certain point which is why it's pointless to have phase cooling on an SLi setup.

I'd also be suprised if 1 could beat 2 but I'm sure mav will test this theory now he's read that lol.

I think one card can beat two. An single card FX at similar clocks to my opty can beat my SLI i think. As I said, this test is really CPU limited Just wait till I get phase )

I can get 137400 in SLI and 117000 single - two cards are still better than one

Sorry I meant extreme cooling on the cpu - such as LN2 on a FX57 with one 7800 may be able to beat DaGuvs scores.
