We are elated to be present at Nvidia’s GPU Technology conference (GTC) in San Jose, CA. We will be bringing pics and videos of today’s even later but if you want to check out Jensen Huang’s (CEO, Nvidia) keynote speech I suggest you follow the link below and watch the keynote in a live webcast in HD.

from ABT.com

Elelmental technologies (famous for making the Badaboom Video encoder for Nvidia CUDA enabled GPU’s) is helping broadcast the webcast in HD Stereo. All the video encoding is being done on Nvidia GPUs. (Kudos to Nvidia for doing this !)

First time a webcast is streamed in HD Stereo.

That must cost a few quid!!

link to the webcast: HERE

Well, here is the news we have been waiting for regarding Nvidias new powerhouse, and on paper this thing looks amazing

Just a small correction. The card comes with both 8 pin + 6 pin PCIe power connectors and it needs both to run. The 6 pin is on top of the card, the 8 pin is on the end of the card.

I like the fact that it is shorter then the previous generation, and WAY shorter then what ATI is offering.

Isn't it the professional offering tho in that picture ?

Aye 'tis a Tesla card.

They seriously need to make a cooler that doesn't look like the previous models.

I am personally getting a bit bored with it.

what could they do with it though?

Ought to have a fan shroud so that you can get the air flow through the fins and out of the back. single/double slot >> sqaure shape = little room for changes

Thing is, the majority of these types cost 1000s of £££, get installed in workstation pcs, and get used to browse the internet :p ... well display a screen, show HD video at the most.

(not like I'm speaking from any experience of this waste of cash by any particular department or corporation)
