GSkill PC3200/PC4400

Hi All,

Just been testing this new GSkill memory and these are the results. The bandwidth is really good at these stock speeds.

Memory settings are 2-2-2-5 @ 2.7v 1T

Specs:

1 x Mach 11 GT

1 x FX55

2 x 512mb GSkill PC3200/PC4400

1 x Epox 9NDA3+

Well after speaking with GSkill tech they said i should be able to use the following settings:

HT Frequency x 3

HTT 300+ in steps

mem= 2.5-3-3-7 @ 2.8v 1T

Chipset 1.7v

M8tRiX - sorry for DIMM question - what does the PC3200 & PC4400 title mean, surely they are one or the other? Or is it post- New Year fuzzyheadednessosityfication?

The memory can run at PC3200 and PC4400 that's what i mean.

Yes those timings for the LC Sticks but it's:

PC3200 - 2-2-2-5-1T

PC4400 - 2.5-3-3-7-1T

If you have LE sticks! Much like the stuff I bought from BAcon!

Well if you look around the GSkill website you'll see they have lot of combinations of RAM which is all rated at certain timings at PC3200 and whatever they clock to. Each 1 is denoted a combination of letters LA, LB, LC, LD, LE, LF etc etc, with each of these being written on the sticks as the model number, and they are also on the website of each product.

Model Number :

F1-3200DSU2-512LE / F1-3200DSU2-1GBLE:

PC4400(DDR550) 2.5-3-3-7 PC3200 2-2-2-5 (Dual channel)

Note the BOLD LE
