Hello everywhere,
Name is Drew (aka noteworthynerd). Been watching TTL's videos for a few months now, was introduced to him by some of the regulars over at the MMO-Champion Computer Forum (where I'm a mod).
I'm 23 years old, been building PCs since I was 15. I've got a associate's degree in network systems administration and a bachelor's degree in network and communications management, but I'm much more interested in PC and desktop support. I'm the IT Coordinator (fancy way of saying the only IT employee) for a small business bank in rural south-east Ohio, USA.
I've got approximately 100 "from the ground up" builds under my belt, and countless hardware upgrades and innumerable tear downs.
I'm in between rigs atm (waiting for Ivy Bridge), but my plans are:
CPU: Intel i5 3570K
Cooling: My first ever custom water loop (one of the primary reasons I decided to join OC3D!)
Motherboard: ASRock Z77 Extreme4
Memory: 16GB Mushkin Blackline Enhanced
Solid State Drive: 120GB OCZ Vertex 3
Hard Drive: 500GB Western Digital Caviar Blue
Case: Fractal Design Arc Midi
Power Supply: SeaSonic X750W
Monitor: 24" Dell UltraSharp
Operating System: Windows 7 Professional 64bit
Keyboard: Corsair Vengeance K60
Mouse: Logitech G9X
I've already got all of the parts except for the CPU and my water loop parts.
