Green and black themed 540 :)

It is too much green for me (but the I always did like red and blue) but looking past that the build is very tidy.

But as for the PCI-e cables that Tom is talking about, imo they would look better coming from where the 24pin comes out.

The green from the fans will be slightly more blocked out when the fan grills arrive in a few days especially the rear fan and I did route the PCI-E cables from the same location as the 24 pin but it looked really messy and cluttered.

Hey Dice,

Here is a hint at what I am planning for my next case. I think you will be interested

Just a rough cut at the moment with a dremel so needs to be cleaned up. But it will fit on my SLI bridge.

Ohhhhh that is gonna be sexy as hell !!! Keep me updated !!! :D

Very nice :)

When you add a custom loop to your rig, Make sure you change the green L.E.D's to white.

Thank you, But why on earth would I put white L.E.D's in a black and green themed build
I have already ordered my custom WC parts and the XSPC Raystorm CPU Block will have 2 x Green L.E.D's inserted into it, 1 either side.

There's an over abundance of green in the rig, that's why :p. I know you love green, so my opinion won't sway you. Doesn't hurt to try though :D

White L.E.Ds would make the components "pop", if you will.

I see what your saying, What your actually saying is, I NEED MORE GREEN LIGHT !!! ^_^

In all seriousness though I'm not too fond of white lights inside cases, To me it looks too lifeless and meh ^_^

Here ya go dice. Still just roughly done as a test but not too shabby with just a dremel.

Nvidia Raz3rbridge :)

Wouldnt say its amazing but its a start at least. :)

Well I think it looks awesome, Thank you for sharing this :)

Some custom fan grills will be arriving soon, They are 140mm grills laser cut from aluminium and I'll be putting them on the three 140MM Green LED Bitfenix Spectre Pro fans I have for intakes, The grills will be going on the inside of the case so you can actually see them, Just for the blondes out there ^_^

Example picture below of the grill -

I found this pic on the net and sent the pic off to a shop I buy from quite frequently that does custom work, Laser cutting etc... Didn't cost as much as I originally thought either.

All I have to do is clean them, Prime them, Paint them black, Install them and then I'll take a few photos :)

Should be here in the next week :D

Well... thats nice and clean!

Thank you :)

Replaced the fans at the back and front with Bitfenix Spectre Pros 140MM.

Will also be carbon fibre wrapping the side panel when I get the time.

Also painted the fan rings so they blend in more -

Custom backplate arrives in a few days, Laser cut, The green parts of the Nvidia claw are removable green transparent plexi and the lettering is also removable white plexi, I'll be removing all parts and covering the backplate in carbon fibre Di-Noc and then putting the Nvidia claw and lettering back for a very clean look :)

Also waiting on 3 x fan guards for the 3 x 140MM's to arrive which will get the carbon fibre Di-Noc treatment ^_^

They will make the fans blend in a bit more, I was going to go with something a bit more custom but it ended up looking out of place, This ties in nicely and makes the fans look a little more orderly -

Took apart my Neutron GTX 240GB and sanded the metal shell, Primed it, Painted it, Baked it for 2 hours in the oven and then let it cool and sit for 2 hours, I think it came out quite well.

I then put it back together and gave it and the WD Caviar Black 4TB some Di-Noc love ^_^

Just want to get a filter or some type of cover for the under side of the case below the drive as that's the only thing that annoys me about this case so far.

And here's a video at night to see the glorious emerald glow as well as a sound test, Got it running pretty quiet so far.

I held my breath the whole way through to make sure there was as little outside noise as possible

Also tidied the SLI finger cover I made to make it a lot neater looking :) -

I made the cover by using a spare SLI bridge, Taking the connectors off, Sticking them to some black plastic card using "3M Modders Tape Of The Gods", Put some Di-Noc on top and then neatened that up :)

I just realised we are kindred spirits.

Didnt see you are using the Sabertooth board as well as an overuse of Razer gear like me :P

I should take a pic of my desk at some point to compare hehe ;)
