Well now u have little excuse.
nVidia are allowing the SDK of Unreal Engine 3 to be downloaded and used for "non comercial" or "educational" purposes.

I'd love to have the time to take this down and have a real play with it.
Unreal Engine 3 I thought was a pretty good engine. If any institutions are looking to offer game dev courses, this should interest them.
Saying that, I don't know how well documented or which tools are fully packaged. Previous experience of sdks have contained all the info u need, just assume that u already know what ur doing b4 u look at it.
