Got an Xbox 360...

Whats happened to me?

I picked one up last Saturday, with quite a few accessories and an extended warranty and have to say, I LOVE IT.

I never thought I would move away from pc gaming, but when you can buy a complete system for £170, it seems a bargain..

All my friends have Xbox's, I have to say, that is where the consoles win hands down.

I know some people will be like "you cant upgrade it like a pc", and I have been so tempted to open it up, but besides the hardware short fall, the gaming side is so much more enjoyable now that I can play with 30+ friends, as opposed to one.

as in a 360 in a pc case or a pc in an xbox case,

if 360 in a pc you can get lian-li case for it, they run for around 60-75 pounds, come with holes for a water loop in and realy good ventilation,

pc in an xbox case... ive seen on in an original xbox, would be cool to see one in a 360 tho

I had one, pretty cool for a while but I soon decided I preferred the PS3. Probably after my second RROD

Hmm yeah, I'm a bit scared of the RROD, hence getting the 2 year extended cover.

I got fifa 09, PGR4 and Burnout paradise (got a bundle)..

Im very pleased with it so far, although I can't get onto live atm (connection to network and internet is fine..?)

pfft, 2nd thats nothing im on my... get this.... 11th,

yet my mates release console is still going strong covered in stickers, its just a little loud,

PSN is crud imo, id rather pay £35 a year for the decent online that the 100+ or what ever extra for the ps3 tbh, im not a fanboy... honest

microsoft cover rrod for 3 years as standard now i think, just means you have to send it off to them instead of taking it to the shop.

They send the box, you package then send it off, they post it back around 2 weeks later

and id say ask around on the xbox.com forums i think theres a whole section about connection issues

It has been working- it was working 20 minutes ago, just stopped working when I went to use my xbox just now :O

oh yeah, just rememberd im talking on msn to my mate atm, he thourt he got banned again but the servers down, maintinence probably. so that could be why you can get on

RROD are easy to fix once you know how £15 and mine is up and running again in under a week unlike sending it back to microsoft for 2 weeks.

probably be done befor tonight, and i know rrod are easy to fix but as it was in warrenty i found it easyer to run it back to the shop, 1 hour round trip + buying new games haha, why ive ended up with nearly 100.

have to admit since I got my XBOX 12 months ago...I've hardly played a game on my PC.

Shame really as I've now got an overspecced machine that just does Facebook and pron but the XBOX makes it soooo easy

From playing it for 2 weeks when my mate tried my 360 i tried his ps3 all i seemed to do was run into lag and chavs going on about my mum.

and the wii isnt a console, its a gym for geeks, LIKE ME.
